I. Job Summary
This position is the primary point of accountability to Business partners and other parties for the management and implementation of large and complex Projects and Programs of substantial size and complexity that support achievement of enterprise and/or strategic corporate goals. This position could also be to manage and oversee a Program Management Office (PMO) for a large area or division with typical PMO activities such as the deployment and socialization of Project Management standards, methods, tools, metrics, etc. Additionally, this position will be responsible for facilitating the development of business requirements for the platform. In every case, these are efforts involving significant risk and complexity, large numbers of resources, complex organizational change issues and support achievement of enterprise and/or strategic corporate goals. The 2VP, Project Management controls planning and execution of the Projects', Programs', Portfolio's or PMO's activities and resources to ensure that established cost, time, and quality goals are met. The 2VP, Project Management works with a high degree of autonomy and applies expert Project and Program Management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to Project deliverables, processes, and systems in order to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations. The 2VP, Project Management defines and operates within parameters using a proven Project Management Methodology with flexibility to merge different methodologies in accomplishing collective goals. The 2VP, Project Management also defines demand and delivery parameters using proven industry best practices.
III. Typical Experience Level
Typically possesses a minimum of ten years of Project Management or equivalent experience in the total Project life cycle with increasing levels of complexity, including management / leadership experience.

1. Complexity Management
Number of Projects Managed Simultaneously: 1 large Program, a large division-wide PMO, or a significant Business unit Portfolio(s)
2. Number of Project Team Members
50-100 , matrixed across multiple divisions and/or vendors

VI. Financial Management
1. Cost Management
Provides significant contribution to organizational annual planning and budget process. Holds a key role in Project/Program Governance processes.
2. Business Case Development
Plays a key part in ensuring that strategic goals of the Business are being supported and pursued by Business Cases. Contributes significantly and may author Business Cases. Continually assesses Business Case and realigns Project as necessary.
