Accounts Payable Clerk :

An established property management company with multiple residential communities around Southern California is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for its Newport Beach, California, office. This position reports directly to the Controller. Essential duties include but are not limited to:



Check and verify proper approval and documentation of invoices

Prepare accounts payable checks

Process security deposit refunds

Answer all vendor and resident inquiries

Print check registers on a monthly basis after close of A/P

Assist in maintaining A/P files

Assist onsite Business Managers in coding invoices and miscellaneous inquiries

Resolve invoice discrepancies and overdue balances with vendors and onsite Business Managers.

Post journal entries for reclassifications and corrections.

Prepare credit applications for new vendors

Maintain all credit accounts (Home Depot, Office Depot, etc)

Set up accounts and process
