We are a rapidly-growing, independent reference lab company. We are committed to building a Cincinnati-based, full-service laboratory in close collaboration with the local medical community. We are looking to add a Medical Technologist with molecular diagnostics to our Cincinnati, OH lab.

Medical Technologist (MT) – Molecular

Responsibilities:
• Perform and report out High Complexity testing for clinical lab services
• Review test results and QC
• Perform and troubleshoot molecular techniques using real-time PCR and RT-PCR, and other methods as required, for the detection of viral and bacterial agents in clinical specimens including all pre-analytic, analytic and post-analytic processes

Requirements:
• Must be computer literate and have a basic understanding of computer interfaces
• Minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience as a Medical Technologist required
• Experience in quality improvement and safety desired
• Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Medical Technology, Microbiology or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Two years of laboratory experience using molecular techniques in a diagnostic or clinical setting is highly desirable
• National certification by NCA, ASCP or HEW
• MT/MLT (ASCP) or equivalent required (NCA or HEW)
