JOB DESCRIPTION
The chosen candidate for this position will be a seasoned Human Resources professional experienced in Talent Management strategies and processes. Our client is seeking a Senior Manager of field Human Resources who will be a strategic partner for the Division management team. The ideal candidate will have experience partnering with all levels of the organization, developing succession plans, and leading the implementation of talent management processes in a field environment. This position is field-based and the successful candidate can reside anywhere within the division, which covers the states of VT, NY, PA, NJ, DE, Eastern MD, KY, IN, OH and MI. This position will require 50% - 75% domestic travel.
POSITION DETAILS
Knowledge of overall HR functions to include recruiting employee relations, training and development.
Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws.
Ability to mediate between employees during conflict resolution.
Ability to achieve measurable results through collaboration and influence.
Exceptional planning , coordination, project management and implementation skills.
Advanced ability to communicate with employees at all levels (both verbal and written communication skills).
Strong presentation skills

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree is required, preferably in Human Resources or a related discipline.
5 – 7 years in Human Resources, with a concentration on Employee Relations and Succession/Talent Management is required, preferably within the retail industry.
PHR or SPHR is highly preferred.
Proven track record in building partnerships with internal and external business partners is essential in this role.
Strong presentations skills are required.
Strong project management skills are required.
