Schedule: Day/Evening hours every other weekend in the Ames area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure to practice nursing in Iowa.

2. Current CPR is required.

3. Clinical nursing experience in pediatrics, homecare or other acute care setting preferred.

4. Must past post offer DCI child abuse background check.

5. Must have a reliable means of transportation.

6. Must have good organizational and communication skills.

Provides skilled nursing interventions to children with special health care needs in respite care services. Completes assessments and health care plans for children receiving services. Provides professional nursing, personal care and skill development services for assigned children in facility-based setting. Works within the framework of physicians orders, family instructions, individualized health and program plans, professional and regulatory guidelines, and ChildServe policies and procedures.
