Directs related patient care activities of a single unit medical-surgical department. These include formulation and implementation of nursing service standards, assurance of quality clinical outcomes and providing leadership in interdisciplinary collaboration to promote quality of care, patient safety and staff competency. Assist in the budget preparation process, both capital and operational cost, and is responsible for its effective implementation. Responsible for directing full compliance of all regulatory standards related to the services in addressing issues and outcomes that pertain to daily operations short and long-term performance improvement strategies.

Experience: Current Texas RN license; BLS. Prefer BSN with critical care and leadership experience.
