Inman Healthcare, a 40 bed long term care facility of excellence is searching for a talented Activity Director to join our team! Position Summary: Responsible for the planning and implementation of activities for all residents in facility. Designs programs to encourage socialization, provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment, and improve daily living skills in accordance with State and Company guidelines.

Experience: Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director and motivator. Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively and accomplish goals.



A qualified Activity Director must meet one of the following criteria

Certification as an Activity Director Certified (ADC or ADPC) or Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or eligible for certification as either

OT or COTA

Has at least two years of full-time experience in a social or recreational program, one of which must be in recreation (so they could have two years in recreation/activities, or one year in social services plus one in recreation/activities) Emphasis on older adults preferred.

Has completed a state approved activity course of as least 40 hours (SC does not have a state course anymore; they recognize the MEPAP as their accepted course).

Must be detail oriented, high energy and have excellent customer service skills.


Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.
