Catalyst Professional Services is seeking a Family and Internal Medicine Physicians, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to provide care to soldiers and their depentdants. Positions are part of the Traumatic Brain Injury Surge contract which is designed to improve the care for soldiers returning from deployment, particularly those affected by mild TBI or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Physicians, PAs and NPs will complete pre- and post-deployment health assesments, serve on medical evaluation boards, and provide primary care to soldiers and their dependents. There is some travel associated with this position. Any state license accepted and medical malpractice protection provided at Federal workplaces. Qualificaitons: Education: Contract Service provider shall have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must have and maintain current certification as a PA by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). In addition to NCCPA certification, a license as a PA from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands is required for all PAs. Experience: The PA shall have a minimum of one year of experience as a practicing PA. This requirement may be waived for graduates of Army PA Programs. Clinical experience diagnosing and treating primary care conditions and knowledge of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and related conditions. Continuing Education: Must maintain Continuing Education credit sufficient to maintain both their clinical license and certification and to meet MTF specific Quality Assurance standards for credentialing as a Physician Assistant.

Education: Contract service provider shall be a Doctor or Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), must have completed an ACGME accredited residency in family or internal medicine, or be American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board-eligible or certified in family or internal medicine. Foreign medical graduates shall possess a valid certificate from the Educational Council for Foreign Medical Graduates.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must have and maintain a current medical license in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands that allows for the independent practice of clinical services. Must maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number.

Experience: Have been continuously employed in the practice of medicine or in training for the one year prior to commencement of services under this contract. Clinical experience diagnosing and treating primary care conditions and knowledge of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and related conditions.

Physician Assistants:

Education: Contract Service provider shall have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must have and maintain current certification as a PA by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). In addition to NCCPA certification, a license as a PA from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands is required for all PAs.

Nurse Practitioners:

Education: Family Nurse Practitioners shall have a Masters and/or Doctorate degree from an accredited school.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must have and maintain a current, active, valid, unrestricted RN license in a least one U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction. In addition, the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse must possess a license (or other authorizing document) for advanced practice issued by either the State Board of Nursing granting the RN license or another state effective 1 July 2009. Must maintain a current certification as a family nurse practitioner from a nationally recognized source (or national certifying body), such as the American Nurses Credentialing Commission (ANCC).

Experience: The Nurse Practitioner shall have a minimum of one year experience as a practicing NP. This requirement may be waived for graduates of Army FNP Programs. Clinical experience diagnosing and treating primary care conditions and knowledge of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and related conditions.
