Calling all skiers! We have a wonderful DON opportunity in Colorado's Western Slope.

This is a mid-sized SNF with 2 solid years of excellent clinical and survey results and plans for continued expansion, including Medicare suites. Director of Nursing will ensure that optimal quality of care is provided in a safe environment. Will develop, implement, and evaluate programs to measure, assess, and improve the quality of nursing care delivered to patients. Will manage programs that promote the recruitment, retention, and continuing education of nursing staff. Ensure that adequate nursing staff are available, based on census and facility requirements. Comply with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies and procedures. DON will plan and facilitate meetings and committees, and coordinate with other departments to address resident care issues.

Experience: A qualified candidate with have at least 2 years of higher level nurse management experience and possess a collaborative, team-oriented leadership style. Excellent compensation, bonus and quality life balance are all offered here.
