Designs, Analyses, and Specifies mechanical or electromechanical components, products, or plant systems.
·BSME w/ 10-15 years of antenna experience
·3D Modeling (SolidWorks)
·FEA Structural Analysis (SolidWorks Cosmos)
·Advanced GD&T knowledge
·Manufacturing process experience (specifically: machining, rolling, welding, paint & protective coatings, casting, fixturing, panel stretching, etc.)
·Developing technical specifications
·Building & testing prototype antenna systems
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities include the following:
1.Design and development of various stages of standard product design.
2.Redesign existing components to improve company products.
3.Mechanical design using 3D CAD software.
4.Analyze design fit and function using manual and/or software methods.
5.Establish specifications for the design criteria.
6.Oversight of prototype manufacture, build, and verification testing.
7.Coordination of special suppliers for new parts.
8.Interact with customers for specification review, design reviews, and on-going support.
9.Conduct training of personnel.
10.Supervision: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

3. Bachelor’s Degree plus 10-15 years experience in a relevant field or a combination of lesser formal education and additional work experience.
4.Demonstrated competency in use of the Solidworks 3D design platform and application of fundamental and elevated principles of mechanical engineering and design practices as pertains to industrial equipment of a electro-mechanical nature.
5. Familiar with MS Office software and corporate working environment.
6. Capable of working independently with inputs from multiple sources while completing assignments.
7. Working knowledge of Satcom Industry.
