The ASC Orderly cleans the operating room to ensure the efficient flow of the surgical schedule.  In addition, this position participates with other facility team members to provide optimal patient care and efficient patient flow, taking into consideration the population specific needs for patients at all stages of life.

Sutter Gould Medical Foundation (SGMF)is a non-profit, multi-specialty health care organization affiliated with Sutter Health. Based in Modesto, SGMF provides quality medical care, health education and research activities in a five-county area. SGMF's medical staff includes family practitioners, internists and pediatricians, as well as a range of specialist physicians. Services include imaging, nuclear medicine, a health library, health education programs, occupational medicine, diabetes education, nutrition counseling, infertility counseling, weight management. 

High School Diploma or GED.  This position receives on the job training to point of competency.  Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred. Previous handyman experience is required.  Knowledge of proper body mechanics to list and transport patients and supplies is preferred.  Knowledge of infection control practices is preferred.  Requires the ability to communicate well with other healthcare professional as well as the lay persons. BCLS (CPR) required.  Computer skills required. Must exhibit desirable trunk and extremity mobility and strength to perform job duties.  Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds safely.  Must be able to push gurneys with patient up to 400 pounds (2 people pushing gurney).  Push wheelchair up to 400 pounds.
