Level II Advanced Technician

With exceptional technical and customer service skills, the Level II Advanced Technician will be a valued, dependable resource for our company in dealing with complicated technical and challenging client issues.

Responsibilities:
• Provide clients with effective technical support, both remotely and on-site
• Coordinate and implement projects with additional resources
• Review invoices for clients
• Support and contribute to the development of the company way of performing technical services and interacting with the client
• Work with Managers, peers, vendors and clients to design and implement solutions
• Work with Managers to coordinate service scheduling and communicate service status with company team and client
• Respect the client and consider their business objectives when developing and implementing solutions

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has 3+ years work experience in a client-oriented environment. Demonstrated client service skills are required, including the ability to handle client escalations on a professional basis. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required in addition to the following:
• Proven competencies with servers, routers, wireless and wired infrastructure, firewalls, managed switches and ability to diagnose and solve computer and network issues, including hardware, software and connectivity issues in a timely manner with limited resources
• Experience designing and deploying networks (server, transport layer equipment, workstations, backups, basic security software and hardware)
• Ability to make judgment calls in a timely manner on problems that require escalation to management and/or non-standard solutions
• Reliable transportation with insurance
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the computer support industry, such as lifting and carrying computer equipment and sitting in a chair for extended periods of time when performing remote and/or phone support
• Ability to represent company in a professional manner with regard to physical presentation and demeanor
