Lead Physician Assistant - Heart & Vascular Pay is up to $175,000 depending on experience. Under auspices of the Heart & Vascular Institute Physician Assistant oversees and performs PA functions under the Delegation of Services Agreement / Scope of Practice approved by the Medical Executive Committee (MEC). Ensures physician assistant coverage and performs as a physician assistant for company's Cardiac and Vascular Surgery programs at Hospital. Current certification as a Physician Assistant in the State of California required. Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association. Demonstrated proficiency with management of common acute & chronic disorders related primarily to cardiac and vascular disease. 2+ yrs intraoperative cardiac, thoracic and vascular procedural experience required. Demonstrated ability in collaboration and effective teamwork with other health care professionals. Must be available to take call including some weekends and holidays.

Compensation: Up to $175,000 depending on experience
