Medical Lab Technician (MLT) will perform duties as set forth in the Laboratory Policy and Procedure Manual which has been authorized by the Medical Director and Director of Laboratory Services.  MLT must adhere to all Quality Control policies of the laboratory, document corrective actions, instrument maintenance and calibration.  The MLT will perform all laboratory tests under the supervision of a Medical Technologist with the guidance of the Director of Laboratory.  MLT must maintain highest level of medical ethics and quality assurance as outlined by hospital, local, state, and federal requirements.    



Experience: Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field, MLT(ASCP) registered, or registry eligible within one year.  At least one year of generalist experience is preferred, which can include related military experience, but is not required.   Ability to communicate effectively in English through written and verbal means.
