Senior Hospice Home Health Aide - Las Vegas, NV
 
Primary Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and participating in day to day clinical care of patients.


• Employees are involved in direct patient care (in a clinic, in-home care, etc.)


• Provide or assist patient in bathing and skin care, shampoo, meal preparation, feeding, toileting, turning, positioning, linen changes, light housekeeping, ambulation, transferring and administering enemas according to HHA plan of care.


• Assist with prescribed exercises which patient and appropriate health personnel have taught home health aides.


• Recording vital signs as directed.


• Report changes in the patient's conditions and needs.


• Maintain a par level of 80 visits a month.


• Maintains a professional appearance.  

• Must possess basic computer skills


• Minimum two years experience as a Home Health Aide.


• Must be able to meet all health requirements prior to employment as required by company policy/state regulations to verify that they are free from communicable disease and physically able to performing assigned duties without restrictions.


• Must possess a motor vehicle in good working condition which is available during work hours for job related tasks, proof of insurance.


• High School diploma or equivalent.


• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification for the State of Nevada.


• Current CPR certification.


• Ongoing attendance at education/in-service programs as deemed necessary by management.


• Hospice experience is preferred.
