Responsibilities: This position provides Project Management support of Norlight Incs complex products and services. NOTE: This job description covers the major purpose and major responsibilities (functions) of the job. Primary Responsibilites: The Project Manager serves as the customers main point of contact for technical pre-implementation support through activation of a customers complex Norlight, Inc. solutions. Organizes and distributes project related information to supporting work groups. Completes necessary paperwork and implementation steps. Coordinates between internal Operations teams, Sales, and the Customer (and their vendors) in order to execute a smooth cutover of service. Appropriately manages customer expectations to successfully complete projects. Appropriately manages internal workflow to assure successfully completed projects that are on time. Requires minimal supervision. The associate may be required to follow other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties as requested, subject to all applicable state and federal laws. Education/Training/Experience: High School Diploma and 5 years in related field OR College Degree and 3 years in related field OR College Degree in Telecommunications or CIS and 2 years in a related field. Valid drivers license required. Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet goals. Skills/Knowledge/Personal Qualities: The successful applicant will be a resourceful, customer oriented, technical, self-starter, who is well organized, and able to pursue given objectives with little or no supervision. Prior Telecommunications-based Project Management experience preferred. This is a high profile growth opportunity that demands a technically oriented, highly motivated individual with strong communications, customer service, organizational skills and attention to detail. Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint working knowledge desired. Metasolv experience desired. Knowledge of PBX, KSU, Integrated T1, Voice, and Data desired. Personally motivated, aggressively goal-oriented focus. Superior interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Detail oriented organizational skills Analytical problem solving skills Ability to understand complex issues and learn quickly. .
