Responsibilities: The contractor may be the sole provider of a medical treatment in an operating room or labor and delivery room, consequently, the HCP must be fully aware of ancillary support available and fully prepared to provide all of the emergency services required without assistance if necessary. The contractor shall provide anesthesia care primarily for L&D and OR patients. The contractor shall provide anesthesia care for/to all authorized personnel as defined in AR 40-3. The Government will determine patient eligibility for care. The contractor shall refer all questions concerning patient eligibility for care to the Patient Administration Division (PAD), MACH. The contractor shall follow all DoD, US Army, MACH and departmental regulations, policies, and procedures. The contractor shall use available Department of Defense and MACH resources; that is, specialty consultations, ancillary services, and supplies for the optimal care of patients under this agreement. The contractor shall perform all duties in such a manner that they meet all current TJC standards. STG International, Inc.
