Position Details
The chosen candidate will focus on Power Electronics as applied to Fuel Cell Power plants for both onsite and transportation fuel cell programs. This will include both grid-connect/grid independent applications including IEEE1547, energy storage, battery state of charge and hybrid power management familiarity with DC and AC electrical power conversion topologies and equipment along with electrical system modeling and simulation (including power electronics). While in this role the chosen candidate will participate in the design review process. This individual may also participate on IEEE committees, as well as participate in the review of Fuel Cell standards and will provide mentorship for power electronics Associates in the group.

QUALIFICATIONS
MSEE is required and a PhD is highly preferred.
10 years of engineering experience.
Experience with collaborative supplier design and development is required.
Familiarity with industry electrical standards – SAE, IEC, DIN, NEC and UL is essential in this role.
Ability to organize tasks and work with a project plan is required.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required.
