Administrative Coordinator
Reporting to the Corporate Operations Administration Supervisor, you will be the main contact between the nursing homes, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Eye Care Technicians, Doctors and the corporate office.
Responsibilities:
Schedule visits for Healthcare providers and clinics in nursing homes
Communicate with Providers for scheduling of homes
Manage inventory of supplies including ordering, maintaining and shipping
Maintain all pertinent information for all Healthcare providers; contact them when needed for updates and communicate any changes to homes
Liaison to nursing homes schedule clinics using the corporate computer program
Maintain database of patients and determine patient list
Confirm residents to be seen
Mail doctors orders to home for signature
Assist in the gathering and analysis of accounting information
Serve as the intermediary between the nurse practitioner and the nursing home
Enter all biographical information in the POS and maintain database of CPT and ICD-9 codes
Communicate changes to the nursing home staff
Serve as back-up and/or support to Eye Care, Foot Care and Continence Care Administrative Assistants
Process prior approvals for NC eye care program
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a High School diploma with excellent telephone skills. Proficiency in Word and Excel along with excellent communication and time management skills. Must be well organized, detail oriented, work well independently or in a team and possess the ability to maintain confidential information. Continence, foot care and/or eye care experience required. Knowledge of insurance filing and claims adjudication with previous medical front office/scheduling experience are also essential to the success in this position.
