On behalf of Central Valley grower/shipper/packer, we are seeking candidates for the position of Human Resources Manager at their Maricopa, CA location. A summary of this role is as follows: Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining human resources practices and programs designed to enhance productivity, regulatory compliance, and positive employee relations; provide employment and recruitment support including interviewing, registration, orientation, and retention strategy; administer employment benefits; and, all other areas of human resources including, but not limited to employee training and development, safety and workers compensation, payroll and HRIS management, recordkeeping and regulatory compliance. The Human Resources Manager reports directly to the Director of Human Resources and has a dotted-line reporting relationship to the General Manager. This is a full-time exempt position eligible for full benefit package!
Candidate Requirements: Education and/or Experience: Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in human resources. Certification: SPHR or PHR desired, but not required. Language Skills: Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Must be able to write simple correspondence. Must be able to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to employees of the organization. Bilingual in English and Spanish required to effectively communicate and train employees, as well as supervisory employees.
