Job description:

Heartsafe EMS Inc. is in search of Instructors who can commit to regular part-time teaching assignments. Our clients are companies, schools, childcare centres, government offices and recreation properties. Training programs range from 2-16 hours in length and are conducted at the premise of the client Monday through Saturday, days and evenings.

Heartsafe EMS is a Paramedic based, innovative, business-to-business supplier of first aid training programs and AED equipment. This is our twelfth year servicing Ontario communities with a unique style of emergency training by emergency professionals.

Heartsafe EMS is an authorized delivery agency for the Emergency Services Branch of Health Canada and the Ontario Workers Safety & Insurance Board. We are a Canadian Distributor for Philips Healthcare brand of Heartstart defibrillators.

We are seeking professional Instructor candidates, with an EMS work history who can work independently in a corporate environment. The ideal candidate is a good observer and listener, has good communication skills is well organized and can motivate and engage students.

No previous Instructor experience required. Current Instructors are welcome to inquire.

Successful candidates will be required to attend a Heartsafe EMS Instructor program.
