Family Physician opportunity available in a 25-bed critical access hospital with a 33-bed long term care unit attached. There are two clinics - one clinic, located behind the hospital, is just one year old with state-of-the-art equipment and the other clinic is located 15 miles east of the city. The out of town clinic has a physician half day/week and full time nurse practitioner. This physician will work in the clinic 4.5 days from 9:00 am to 12:00pm and 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Additionally, this physician will perform rounds on the long term care patients in the facility and several others as well as with their patients in the hospital. Prefer OB but not required; no high-risk OB. Current staff includes one physician (does OB), one nurse practitioner, and two physician assistants. Call coverage is 1:4 with second call back up for the PA's. Hospital services include acute care, ER, minor surgery, OB, EECP, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech. Salary range is $150,000 - $165,000 plus additional pay for ER coverage and production bonus. Prefer a 3 to 5 year contract. Compensation: Salary range is $150,000 - $165,000 plus additional pay for ER coverage and production bonus.
