Maxim Health Information Services is seeking Healthcare Technology Consultants who have experience with EPIC Clinical Applications for a position in Detroit, MI. The EPIC Application Analyst will be involved in the design, build, and implementation of Epic software applications.

Responsibilities include:
-Analyze user needs for developing and modifying systems
-Use operational and functional systems knowledge to develop business requirements, recommend changes to business process designs and workflows
-Analyze user requirements and develop detailed designs that conform to application architecture guidelines, and communicate with project manager during all phases of implementation
-Develop and modify configurations that meet design requirements
-Participate in developing and managing project plans
-Oversee and assist in the installation and configuration of peripherals used for EPIC
-Analyze/review and test each release and communicates needed changes to Epic before users are permitted to access the release
-Develop end-user training for applications software as needed

Experience: Qualifications:
-Planning and implementation experience in EPIC clinical applications (required)
-Healthcare experience (required)
-Four plus years of application implementation and support experience
-Must have very strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with customers, vendors, peers and management
-Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or related field is a plus
-EPIC Ambulatory certification is a plus
