The Staff Pharmacist functions under the general supervision of the director of pharmacy. The staff pharmacist performs duties, maintains professional standards in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies, procedures, codes and standards maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care and assures smooth operation of the pharmacy department. A staff pharmacist may, in the absence of the director of pharmacy, be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the director of pharmacy. Status: Fulltime Education: Required: Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy.Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Texas. Work Experience: Healthcare Setting Experience
