Atlas Medical International is a retained and contingency search firm to the healthcare industry. Our client is a 200 bed hospital in Kuwait, specializing in Cardiac and Chest Medicine. The hospital is undergoing a management change and seeking to recruit a
Director of Radiology

.

Responsibilities



o Provision of leadership, direction, planning, administration and management of daily operations of the applicable department.

o Evaluation, development and preparation of the plan for improving the services in the applicable department.

o Management of the delivery of care and other services in the applicable department including quality, safety and cost.

o Monitoring of the performance and compliance in the applicable department with international quality and patient safety, regulatory and accreditation standards.

o Development and maintenance of effective working relationships with medical staff, nursing staff, members of other Hospital departments and other staff.

o Recruitment and retention of qualified personnel, including Department Managers/Supervisors, within the applicable department.

o Supervision of the services provided by the applicable department.

o The performance of such other and further duties as shall be assigned by NYP Global, the CEO or the respective C Level Personnel from time to time.



§ Qualifications



o MS in related field

o 10 years of which 3-5 years experience in related field and at management/leadership level

o Knowledge in the field of responsibility (e.g., nursing, radiology), management of staff including recruitment and retention procedures, regulatory and accreditation standards, quality and safety, and budgeting.
