SAN/Storage Architect Location: Washington DC

Required:

- Fluency in SAN Fabric Administration including zoning, LUN security, and HBA configuration and troubleshooting

- Fundamental understanding SAN and NAS storage technologies and protocols.

- Experience and understanding in enterprise backup and data protection technologies like offsite block level replication

- VERITAS Storage Foundation, VxVM or Linux/HP-UX Logical Volume Manager

- Experience with some/all of the following storage arrays:

- HDS USP/USP-V-Tagmastor,

- HDS AMS1000

- 3Par InServ

- Brocade Silkworm Switches

- NetAp FAS3000/3100

- StorageTek 6540

- Experience in utilizing SAN Array tools and technologies such as:

- Storage Navigator

- snapshots/cloning

- shadow image

- UVM

- True Copy

- NDMP

Desired Experance:

UNIX(Solaris), Linux, FreeBSD Server Administration

Windows Server 2003/2008

Qlogic Emulex HBA Configuration

Veritas VxDMP, EMC Powerpath, Hitachi DLM, or other multi-pathing solutions

Virtualization technologies (VMWare or Xen)
