JOB SUMMARY:

Develops firmware/software for medical applications. Execute unit, integration, and verification testing. Identify opportunities for productivity and quality improvements. Participate in technical reviews and provide technical leadership. Prepare and maintain formal documentation. Specifiy, design, debug, verify, and supports verification tools. Implement testing procedures for new technologies. Work with other team members to develop requirements specifications.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Perform project engineering work and leadership in support of new or current biomedical products. Work includes project engineering support for various phases of product life cycle. The scope of this position requires coordination with internal and external team member and customers as well as other strategic partners. Incumbents in this position apply extensive technical expertise and have full knowledge of other related disciplines. Responsibilities include leading both technical, non-technical and implementation team needs, as well as providing guidance to less experienced team members.

MAJOR DUTIES:

Design, develop, analyze, troubleshoot and provide technical skills during research and/or product development. Plan and administer work on departmental projects, ensuring maximum productivity and cost-efficiency.

Monitor and evaluate progress and results, and determine improvements that may be needed in operating procedures or ultimate objectives.

BACKGROUND REQUIRED:

?Bachelor?s Degree

?5+ Years industry experience

?MS Office proficiency

?Experience with project management, cross functional desired

?Knowledge of design processes

?PMI or PMP certification preferred

?Experience with scheduling and budgets

?Proven expertise and strength in at least more than one engineering discipline Strong communication skills and business acumen
