The Java developer will provide expertise in design and coding using J2EE technology.

-Must have a full life cycle experience in Java/J2EE development in an Oracle 10/11 environment.

-Will design and develop new J2EE applications and analyze existing applications and design a J2EE application based on new and existing business requirements.

-Will assist in making informed decisions and developing evaluation, testing and deployment strategies for new Java products/technologies.

-Will need to be familiar with Oracle 10g Forms and PL/SQL to be able to analyze the existing in-house applications.

-Must be able to work independently and with non-technical members of the community.

Required:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technical degree with appropriate certifications in Oracle required. Additional education can substitute for some experience.

-3 or more years of Java development

-Knowledge of J2EE application development interfacing with an Oracle Database

-Strong communication, organization and writing skills

-Experience using PL/SQL and writing procedures, functions, and triggers

-Knowledge and experience in Oracle Forms, Oracle Designer, Oracle Reports
