Will work on a server software development team creating application solutions for an education media product line.

Responsibilities:

*Specify, design, implement and test components for an enterprise level Java based product. *Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

*Experience in scalable distributed software design and implementation.

*2+ years experience designing and developing enterprise systems using Java/J2EE technologies including JSP's, servlets, EJBs, web services, Hibernate, Spring,etc.

*2+ years of video/audio processing software experience.

*Experience with Linux, Win32 and OSX server development

*Experience in media technologies and transformation is a plus

*Good written, verbal and in-person communication skills

*Object Oriented design and implementation

Desired:

*Experience in multimedia - Video, Audio streaming media industry experience.

*Development experience in C++/C, JavaScript, SSL concepts, Tapestry, CSS/HTML and MySQL, is highly desirable.

*Experience with video technologies such as DirectShow, , Flash, FFMPEG, or QuickTime SDK is a plus.
