What is an Encountour Campus Rep?

A Campus Representative is a student leader who works part-time to promote Encountour's unique winter, spring, and summer break travel opportunities to students on his/her campus.

Campus Representatives select a few student Trip Leaders who would like to lead one of our volunteer or adventure trips to Guatemala. Then, the Campus Rep helps the Trip Leaders recruit their groups. As a Campus Rep, you get a commission for every Trip Leader that you recruit, AND for every student who signs-up for a trip!

How Much Can I Earn?

How much you earn will entirely depend on how much effort you put-in, and how many students you are ultimately able to recruit.

You will earn $150 for every student Trip Leader who you recruit (as long as the trip leader successfully assembles a group).

Additionally, you will earn $30 for every participant who signs-up with one of your Trip Leaders!

For example, if one of your Trip Leaders recruits 12 other participants to join their trip, then you would earn $510 in cash! ($30 x 12 participants + $150 = $510).

Who is Encountour Looking For?

Campus Rep applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Passion for promoting alternative travel opportunities
  
• Have an established social network on campus
  
• Self-motivated
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  
• Must be enrolled in a North American 4-year college or university
  
• Must be a Sophomore or above

Encountour is a volunteer and adventure travel company that exposes North American college students to the developing world. We challenge the current college break «party» tradition by offering alternative trips that enable student participants to engage with a country's local communities and natural environment.
