Systems Developer/Business Analyst

Minimum Job Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working on projects to gather requirements and design and deliver a solution. 7+ years experience as a developer with the following skill set: Documentum DFC, HTML, ASP, JavaScript, SQL Server (DBA, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Linked Servers, etc.), XML, VB SCRIPT, Windows 2003+, .NET, IIS. And UNIX

Document management experience a plus. Candidate must have excellent analytical skills and with the ability to create detailed business requirements, systems requirements, use cases, business process flows and diagrams and extract business requirements from interviews with business clients. Excellent written and verbal communication, including excellent interpersonal skills when interfacing with business clients, technical peers, offsite development resources and software vendors.

Work with Application Team Lead and members of the team in designing and implementing solutions. Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy the solution. Maintain and enhance solutions as required by the business.

A basic understanding of networking will be needed to understand how the applications and servers communicate. A limited amount of off-hours support may be required to ensure applications and all other systems are available as this is a 24X7 application.

Must be a quick-learner and detail-oriented. Organizational and time management skills are a necessity as incumbent will be required to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Position Description:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to,

Working closely with business partners to assist in the definition, inspection and signoff of requirements supporting business sponsored initiatives. Translate business requirements into system design specifications; create project plans; develop, test and implement distributed software to support business requirements. Create project estimates, contribute and coordinate efforts in creating artifacts regarding the design, proposal and execution of projects, including business cases and within the defined ML project process. Evaluate the effects of the new requirement on the existing systems and their various interfaces. Communicate with the development managers, systems analyst and other technical peers to discuss and resolve business, functional and technical issues, and in the smooth and successful implementation of a project.

Be motivated to self-educate in the document management technology industry.

The individual will be accountable for maintaining and supporting existing applications. Assist in application upgrades to servers, diagnosing issues with applications running on the server, responding to problem tickets for issues reported by clients, providing feedback to architecture and development teams. Support and resolve production issues using the Remedy system.

Work closely with other IT Teams ( London and Singapore Documents Online Teams, GTI, CAI,etc) offshore resources, and software Developer/Business Analyst
