Rehabilitation Services Director
Job Summary:

The Rehabilitation Services Director is responsible for direct patient care, reviewing charts, evaluating patients, assisting in developing treatment plan with realistic short term and long term goals, and implementing or supervising plan of care. Responsibilities include evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, plan of care, and patient education. In addition will conduct pre-employment interviews, complete performance appraisals, and hire and release employees.

Education/Work Experience Requirements:


Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech Language Pathology program.
Bachelor s degree in applicable area required
Master s degree preferred
One (1) year experience that includes clinical, supervisory and management experience in a rehabilitation department.
Licensure/Certification:


Current active appropriate licensure from the State of Texas.
