Riverton Memorial Hospital is a 70-bed acute care facility located on the banks of the Wind River, between the Wind River and Owl Creek mountain ranges.
 ICU and or ED Registered Nurse for their facility.  Must have 2+ years as a Registered Nurse in an acute care environment.

We're in the middle of a desert area, 30 minutes from mountains and pristene rivers. I've lived on both coasts, across the middle of the country and ended up in what I consider to be a year-round vacation. My husband and I pack up the 4-wheelers on a Saturday morning, and within 45 minutes, we're at 10,000 feet, trout fishing, camping, and miles to ride with few people. The area is as rugged as you want, or as calm as you need. We're home after dinner, and had a wonderful day. The wildlife and majesty is all there for those that want to venture out. It really is a paradise. We're centrally located, so everything in the state is within 3-4 hours, Yellowstone and Jackson Hole to name a few. There's downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, boating, etc., etc., etc. If they like the outdoors, there's nothing better than canoeing at the base of the Teton Mountains.
There is a smaller mall about 2 hours from us, otherwise Riverton has minimal shopping experiences. If shopping is what a person wants, most people here take the weekend and turn it into a mini vacation, traveling to Salt Lake, Denver, or Billings. It's a lot more fun that way, and I'm not trying to fit it into my usually hectic day.
Our hospital in the process of a $9 million renovation, making it more out-patient friendly.  This shows our Corporation's continued support for our rural hospital, and the importance it has to the community and LifePoint Hospitals. We are looking at adding more services (an Oncology clinic opened in July), increasing our physician base, and growing to meet the needs of our community.
