Job Details:

As a PACU RN you will identify patient care needs during phase 1 of Post Anesthesia recovery and provide a transition from a totally anesthetized state to one requiring less acute interventions.  Other essential functions include:

Assesses patients on arrival to PACU utilizing ABC format and priorities care accordingly
Develops teaching plans to meet the age specific needs of patient
Reviews and updates the interdisciplinary treatment plan in collaboration with the patient and family
qualifications include:  Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Hampshire.  Working knowledge of underlying principles and standards that satisfy regulatory requirements for the following entities:  ASPAN, CDC, HCFA.  IV and ACLS certification required.
