Responsibilities:The Graphic Designer creates news graphics for WGCL-TV newscasts. This position assists other designers with various special projects as assigned, including; print, on-air or web design work for news, programming, promotion, production or sales. Essential Job Functions 70% - Supports weekend news programming with graphics that are creative, accurate and meet deadlines. 20% - Supports Monday and Tuesday news product with graphics that are creative, accurate and meet deadlines. 5% - Supports promotions, sales, production and news with special projects, web and print. 5% - Fills in for other designers for vacation and or sick time as assigned. Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: All must be met to be considered. Education: Completion of high school or equivalent. Bachelors degree in Graphic Design preferred. Experience: One to two years experience as a TV graphic artist desired. Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively, handle extreme deadlines and changing priorities.
