Mandatory Requirements: Number of Position : Two • Candidate must have the following experiences: • Minimum 5 years experience with large scale integrated systems and DB2 database administration. • The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of the Ventyx EAM named “Passport” (Versions 9 and 10), “Asset Suite” (Version 6) and its proprietary installation methodology. • Must have knowledge of CICS, VSAM, Unix systems services, SQL, QMF and Platinum. • Ventyx Passport System and its support in a MVS DB2 environment. • Must be familiar with the Passport System architecture which uses CICS and a thin Client - Portal J - running on Windows 2000 server with an Apache server using Tomcat for a servelet engine while working with Internet Explorer. • In addition, the candidate must support the upgrade and system maintenance of Passport System.
Desirable Requirements: • Set up of new DBA2 environments for the system • Setting up and utilizing the Ventyx implementation methodology • Resolving DB2 and Passport architecture problems • Maintaining the existing new Passport development regions • Provides DB2 and programming support to other team members • Monitoring database performance and fine-tuning of tables, buffering, administering security, recovering tablespaces and indexes, creating new tables • Programming in Cobol II & Cobol III • Production support (24x7) and documentation of all tasks in accordance with Department of Education standards • Installation of Passport and its front end, Portal/J and Foundation Architecture • Migration of Passport versions • Note:-Please use job code while applying for this job.
