Data Shield Implementation Consultant

Key Activities

• Works on unusually complex problems and provides solutions, which are highly innovative.
• Determines requirements and functional specifications for entire system, under only consultative direction.
• Actively seeks customer input, may take responsibility for customer situations, (internal and external customers).
• Uses independent judgment to accomplish goals and objectives.
• Acts as prime consultant on critical projects that impact long term organizational goals and objectives.
• Has insight into industry trends and communicates vision to guide organizational and RSA/EMC strategy.
• Sphere of influence likely to involve people inside and outside of RSA/EMC.

Primary Skills

• Good problem solving skills, a general knowledge and application of engineering concepts.
• SIEM understanding and experience is a MUST.
• An understanding of the business environment.
• The ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup.
• Communication, Mentoring, and Presentation skills.
• Good knowledge of Networking and Security infrastructure devices and applications (e.g. firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPN, IP Networking, etc…)
• General knowledge of industry regulations and compliance concerns (e.g. PCI, SOX, HIPPA)
• Good knowledge of Enterprise Applications (e.g. operating systems, standard business applications, web-based applications, etc…)
• MUST live in the US and be a US citizen.
• RSA skills are a MUST especially SecurID, enVision, and DLP
• Travel required
