Position Details
The chosen candidate will be responsible policy strategy development and lobbying execution; management of the BAE Systems USA Political Action Committee; legislative analysis in support of the enterprise; compliance with US laws and regulations; and developing and maintaining relationships with elected and appointed government officials.


Duties
Domestic Policy Advocacy Strategy development and lobbying.
External outreach to all branches of the US government.
Management of Political Action Committee
Lobby Disclosure Compliance Training and reporting.
Legislative Team Management.

Qualifications
Master's Degree is required
15 years experience in government relations, specifically within the aerospace/defense industry.
Demonstrated success in shaping and influencing the outcome of complex strategic policy issues that affected large corporations in the defense and aerospace industries is required.
Negotiates at many levels within the company and with external stakeholders is required.
Skilled communicator who influences and shapes the image of a complex Program/Business Unit/Operating Group is required.
Requires advanced conceptual thinking in complex and/or completely new situations.
Defines professional/technical direction and strategy.
