Responsibilities:UL> The Mountain Safety Attendant will provide detailed mountain information, enforce and promote Vail Resorts Safety initiatives, and demonstrate excellent guest service. Educate skiers/riders of safety awareness and responsibility. Interact with guests in a courteous, professional and friendly manner at all times. Assist ski patrol with on-mountain incidents. Position requires a willingness to work outside, in all weather conditions for extended periods of time. High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year guest service AED/CPR certified by start date Must be 21 years or older Experience dealing with confrontational situations- preferred Familiarity with the mountain - Preferred Must have the following: Fluent in English Able to work outside in adverse conditions Able to ski/snowboard at an intermediate or above level Able to pass on-mountain ski/ride exam Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Able to perform manual labor, lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.
