Ensures timely delivery of data, analytics and strategic consulting to support the client’s database marketing initiatives. Provides direction and manages the work processes and output of a team of database marketing analysts and statisticians. Develops and/or communicates strategy to implement the objectives of the organization and guides others in linking their activities to the objectives. Evaluates client needs for quantitative analysis. Participates in creating and articulating relevant solutions for clients and in developing methods or processes for implementation.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Manages project tasks, timelines and deliverables
• Manages and mentors analysts, contributing to their technical and career development
• Manages relationships with other business units
• Develops analytical solutions to client business problems
• Analyzes and manipulates data using SAS, SQL or other languages as required to deliver solutions
• Implements analytical solutions using the following techniques:
- Predictive statistical models and other multivariate statistical techniques
- Customer profiling, analysis and data mining
- Segmentation analysis
- Survey design and analysis
- Experimental design and testing analysis
- Campaign performance analysis
• Presents ideas and findings to clients
• Participates in the sales process through solution development and responses to RFPs
• Evaluates internal tools and processes
Skills/Requirements
Education:
Graduate degree in Statistics, Marketing or related quantitative field required
Job Experience:
Extensive knowledge of B2B analytics and data landscape; 5-10 years experience in a quantitative marketing arena-preferably consulting environment experience
Computing Experience:
Excellent MS Excel and Powerpoint skills; SAS (required), SQL (recommended)
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and oral presentation skills; experienced team player
Additional Skills:
Strong problem solving; takes initiative; ability to multitask in fast paced environment; 25% travel required
