POSITION DETAILS
In this position the chosen candidate will lead the planning, organizing and directing of a material and supply group consisting of buyers and buyer assistants for the Direct Procurement organization in Cedar Rapids to meet or exceed SFP/AOP goals and objectives. You will be responsible for all production and engineering procurement activities to support development and manufacturing schedules.
You will be accountable to push frontiers by achieving breakthrough results in material availability, asset management and competitive total cost of ownership. The individual selected must possess analytical and systemic thinking skills that will drive the material organization and our supply chain to define true root cause and corrective actions which drive higher levels of supply chain performance. You must also have the ability to think beyond your focused group to the impacts of decisions on the enterprise and the supporting strategies. You will be responsible for leading and coordination of all material strategies at the local level to meet commitments related to asset management, total cost of ownership and material availability.
In addition, special assignments and/or lead roles will be given to this individual to lead peers both within and outside of the facility to drive enterprise scorecard metrics to meet or exceed AOP goals and objectives

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline, and eight years of related experience, or, in the absence of a Bachelor's degree, fourteen years of related experience.
