JOB DESCRIPTION
The chosen candidate will manage a group of Application Engineers providing technical support to sales & operations for artificial lift and flow assurance systems into the region. Application Engineers provide technical support services including application engineering to regional personnel and directly to clients and through the specification and design of ESP and other artificial lift systems as well as chemical treatments and other flow assurance programs. They support the development of both group and industry standards. They also advise on commissioning and operational procedures including writing commissioning and operational guideline documents. This is a high potential position which requires an applicant who has shown initiative and innovation and who is willing to undertake technical challenges of high profile subsea installations as well as standard platform applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Obtain relevant operational data, carry out analysis and recommending immediate actions as necessary.
• Provide technical engineering support to various subsea and shelf artificial lift and flow assurance engineering projects.
• Create specific installation, commissioning and operating guideline documents for ESP projects.
• Demonstrating the organization’s commitment to global health, safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring artificial lift equipment, components and systems meet the organization’s performance/reliability standards.
• Continually seek innovation and new technology to reduce capital and operating costs.
• Appraise novel technologies (including subsea boosting, phase separation, subsea water injection, chemical automation, etc.).
• Represent the organization in technical discussions with business/industry partners, societies and joint industry projects. Secondary Roles & Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS
BSEE is required. MSEE is highly preferred.
10+ years experience in artificial lift systems with a working knowledge of offshore ESP production system architectures.
Subsea ESP experience would be a distinct advantage.
Ability to demonstrate initiative and assertiveness, ability to plan and organize work in an efficient manner, and ability to work well under stress and time pressure.
The ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across technology functions and within multi-disciplinary teams.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong Health, Safety, Environmental and Regulatory Compliance understanding and a commitment to comply with safety and environmental requirements
