POSITION DETAILS
Reporting to the Director of Procorement and based in Madrid, the Procurement Manager will have the main responsibility of leading a team of buyers that, working on several projects, have the target of realizing pipeline savings as well as to optimize and manage our supply chain. Moreover, he/she will have to measure, report and improve suppliers' performances by managing material requirements in projects, by negotiations with the suppliers and by placing and managing orders.
The successful candidate will have to:
Lead a team of buyers that create, harmonize and manage Project Procurement plans, prepare, establish and manage Long Lead Items Planning, are accountable for material cost performance (TAC) and manage the Bill Of Materials.
Establish purchase contracts for the projects and sign/countersign purchase contract with supplier. Manage purchase contracts in the projects. Ensure deliveries to the project, manage material quality claims.
Plan and provide for training and development of the team.
Participate and adhere to the development of Rail Control Solutions Procurement organization as well as maintain and report KPIs to our clients Transportation's Procurement Management.
Secure compliance of all the projects with sourcing strategies.
Compile, validate and manage Material Bids of the region.

QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or MBA
At least 5 years experience (experience in the railway sector will be considered as an added-value).
Ability to communicate simply and effectively at all levels and in particular across regions
Ability to work in multi cultural environment
Team player
Good communication and coordination skills
Fluency in Spanish and English (knowledge of other languages will represent an added-value)
