POSITION DETAILS
The chosen candidate will develop, plan, coordinate, control, direct, and perform engineering duties related to the design and development of complex engineering systems. Position requires a high degree of judgment, demonstrated leadership and expertise in a functional field of technical specialization.

• Possess strong leadership through demonstrated personal accomplishment and in determining solutions to complex problems and is recognized as having expertise in one or more functional areas of technical specialization.
• Provides direction and position responsibility both inside and outside department lines on programs seeking new and innovative approaches to problems and new applications of existing engineering principles.
• Prepares detailed plans including schedules, budgets, and personal requirements for solving major engineering tasks. Initiates, directs, and schedules work loads, identifies problems and determines the best solution.
• Performs other assorted duties in a leadership capacity such as controlling budget expenditures, reviewing quality of work performed, and reposting results to management.
• Develops and conducts formal training programs in area of technical expertise on a quarterly basis. Comprehends and understands competition's products both technically and commercially.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related engineering discipline is required.
Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience is required.
Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential in this role.
Candidate must be willing to travel 10-15% of the time (domestic and international).
