Global sales for Dow AgroSciences, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company, are $4.5 billion.   The Agronomic Traits Discovery R&D group is seeking an experienced scientist to conduct and supervise research in the area of Nitrogen Use Efficiency.  The successful candidate will work with other trait experts in the department to provide leadership and strategic direction in Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE) and be directly responsible for supervising and executing research to enable gene discovery and testing.  Requirements: A member of interdisciplinary crop team PhD in agronomy, plant physiology or a related discipline is required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the area of nitrogen use efficiency is required. Experience working with plants in a field and/or laboratory environment is required.    Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and be involved in planning and directing the research of other team members is essential for success. Candidates should be linked to the academic research community in this field and be willing to establish collaborations with other researchers. PhD in agronomy, plant physiology or a related discipline is required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the area of nitrogen use efficiency is required. Experience working with plants in a field and/or laboratory environment is required.   .
