Responsibilities: Drive a straight truck 24 ft. or smaller Use writing instruments, pallet jack, pallets, skids, knife, hand truck, copier, fax, telephone, hand held package scanner, etc. Sort freight and load truck according to route sequence Deliver the merchandise to Staples customers (residential and commercial) in a prompt, safe, business like, and friendly manner while giving top priority to taking care of our customers needs Return all delivery receipts and manifests to the appropriate supervisor at the end of the shift Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with fellow associates in a cooperative, constructive manner Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 1-year of truck driving experience of a 24' ft. or longer straight truck Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card 1 - 3 years in a service-oriented position Must have a valid drivers license (no �major moving violations� as described in the employment application supplement and in accordance with applicable state law)..
