Responsibilities: A highly motivated and dynamic scientist with training in medical sciences or molecular biology will work with a team of the Regenerative Medicine Unit to survey the stem cell research landscape in China. Minimal requirements are broad understanding technical aspects of stem cell research and potential applications, a familiarity with research communities in China and the ability to do web-based literature research. The person will review stem cell research conducted at various Chinese academic labs as well biotech companies using data available in the public domain and write a report to summarize progress, strength and weakness of key players in the field in China. Ability to do independent literature research is critical. Education & Training Preferred: MS with 1 years of relevance experiences in biomedical research; experiences in stem cell research and application is preferred Technical Competencies: Familiarity with Chinese biomedical research communities, both academic institutes and the biotech industry. Good oral and writing skill in English and fluent in reading in Chinese. .
