Responsibilities: The Network Analyst role is to design, build and support network infrastructure for Kohls internally hosted ecommerce site. Collaborate with other teams on a regular basis related to design and support. Conduct research and evaluation of network technology. Continue on-going documentation of the ecommerce infrastructure. Primary Responsibilities:. Support ecommerce network infrastructure meeting SLA and application requirements.. Collaborate with other teams in support of ecommerce initiatives.. Provide network solutions for short, medium and long term ecommerce projects.. Maintain documentation of problems with actions taken utilizing BMC Remedy.. Research, test, recommend and deploy firewalls, load balancers, routers and switches on the local and wide area network.. Infrastructure monitoring using Solarwinds and Netcool.. Infrastructure documentation using Visio.. Maintains current knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.. May lead or guide the work of other staff.. Provide individual and /or group instruction and training to staff on network hardware and software.. Provide after hours on-call support. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications:. years of professional experience.. CCNP certification a plus.. Advanced knowledge of Routing Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP). Advanced knowledge of layer 2/3 switching (Cisco 6500 and Nexus). Advanced knowledge of F5 LTM, GTM and irules. Advanced Firewall Configuration and Troubleshooting Experience (Cisco ASA/FWSM, Nokia/Checkpoint). Advanced troubleshooting using network analyzers. Network Instruments experience is a plus..
