Our client is a privately owned manufacturer of food and beverage products. The company has been in operation for more than 25 years.

Responsibilities
1) Manage daily calls to customer outbound and handle inbound calls from customers
2) Translate call sheets into peachtree for invoice printout
3) Ensure output of labels for boxes to be packed and prepare daily production sheet
4) Check inventory levels and alert production staff on specialty items
5) Review product integrity and consistency
6) Ensure re-ordering of raw materials (perishable and non-perishable)
7) Perform inspections of the materials arriving and ensure periodic checking of inventory levels
8) Dictate proper work procedures to new and existing employees
9) Aid employee morale and arrange periodic conversations regarding employee work ethic
10) Maintain good working relationships with all vendors
11) Oversee periodic price checking against existing vendors
12) Ensure delivery appointments are kept and perform sourcing of new products and vendors
13) Pursue credit/claims with vendor as well as ensure correctness of orders prior to departure
14) Maintain a professional and positive demeanor with all customers
15) Identify vehicle maintenance needs and ensure entry of purchases/receipts into peachtree
16) Maintain office supply maintenance
17) Check driver monies in after COD deliveries done
18) Ensure general phone calls are answered and messages received
19) Maintain tidiness of office and perform HACCP sanitation check of facility
20) Check coolers and temperature integrity as well as report mechanical issues when discovered
21) Make sure coolers and electrical devices are off or shut tight at the end of day
22) Ensure to lock the gate at end of day
23) Maintain all USDA log books throughout day

Requirements
1) Degree (4 year) preferred
2) 5+years of experience in meat
3) In-depth knowledge of HACCP, USDA and GMP
4) Individual with entrepreneurial mind-set and excellent multi-tasking skills
