Requirements: Participates in identification and development of policies, procedures, guidelines and staff education programs driven by performance improvement trends. Education/Learning Experience: - Required: Bachelor's in Nursing. Graduate of accredited school of nursing or equivalent. - Desired: NP or PA Work Experience: - Required: At least 3 years clinical experience in the OR, ICU or Cardiac Surgery divisions of a hospital. - Desired: Familiarity with hospital information systems, hospital operations, and quality improvement techniques. Skills/Knowledge: - Required: 1. Strong interest in performance improvement process. 2. Excellent organization skills with attention to detail, adaptability, teamwork, effective management of multiple and simultaneous priorities and demands. 3. Effective communication skills. 4. Strong analytical skills to review data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement. 5. Computer and Internet skills and experience required - familiarity and comfort with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access). 6. Clinical chart review and abstraction experience. 7. Ability to interact with all members of the surgical team and administrative staff in a professional and courteous manner. .
